For over twenty years, the German Salesian Province of Don Bosco has been running the “Don Bosco Volunteers” program, annually offering around 90 young people the opportunity to gain life-changing experiences through social work in Germany and globally. Many young Germans, inspired by Don Bosco’s example, dedicate a year of service after their education.
Participants receive training that integrates Salesian spirituality and the preventive system, preparing them for their work. A dedicated coordination team supports volunteers throughout their journey. Since its inception, over 1,000 young people have participated, making a meaningful impact on the lives of others.
