Ministry Background

Purpose & Objectives

The purpose of this placement is to support the educational and pastoral mission of the Salesian Sisters by accompanying young people in their daily lives. The volunteer participates in the formation of students through presence, support, and active involvement in school and youth ministry activities.

  • Assistance with school communications or digital content
  • Support for retreat planning and youth formation programs
  • Collaboration in provincial or local pastoral initiatives

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist in the classroom (tutoring, language support, general assistance)
  • Support youth ministry and after-school activities
  • Help with catechesis and retreat preparation when possible
  • Accompany students through presence, encouragement, and relationship
  • Assist with extracurricular and recreational programs
  • Participate in community life and pastoral initiatives
