To serve as a teacher of English as a second language and possibly computers to students at the Don Bosco Technical School and Literacy Center in Poipet.

Depending on the interests and background of the volunteer, possible areas of focus include:
-agricultural training
-music ministry
-administrative/office support
-youth group involvement
-faith formation
Area Information
The school is located in a rural area approximately one mile from the center of the border city of Poipet.
Possible other areas of focus:
-Administrative/office support: 5 hours per week
Practical Qualifications/Skills Needed
Faith in Jesus, respect for the Catholic faith, sense of humor, interest in working with youth from disadvantaged backgrounds, fluency in English and willingness to learn Khmer (local language).
Helpful Academic Preparation
College degree.
Helpful Experience
Experience in working with youth from a disadvantaged background, cross-cultural experience, experience working in a faith-based environment.
Helpful Personal Qualities
High moral integrity, positive role model for youth, respectful, good sense of humor, patience, humility.
