Ministry Background

We have a primary English Medium School and next year we are venturing into secondary section. There are about 85 students. There are also 8 teachers teaching in the school.

Students training in extra curricular activities such as music , dancing, arts,abacus, chess etc

Area Information

It is a Buddhist area and few catholics live. It is located beside the main road of Anuradhapura - Puttalam main road. It is a small town in Anuradhapura district.

Special Challenges/Conditions

What I think there is no problem. Only the correct conducts of behaviour matters since it is a Buddhist area.

Major Duties

Teaching and guiding the English Medium School children to become better citizens in the country

Practical Qualifications/Skills Needed

Qualified in teaching primary and secondary education specially in maths and science

Diploma or degree in education

Helpful Experience

Some one who has experience and knowledge about teaching primary and secondary schools

Teaching ability Handling a class Know about Salesian preventive system Counselling students
