The Salesian presence in Cd. Juárez is approximately 25 years old, the 3 oratories - Don Bosco, Domingo Savio and La Lupita - are located in marginalized or vulnerable neighborhoods where there is a large child and youth population that, in the eyes of society, has few opportunities. The presence of the Salesians wants to demonstrate the opposite, offering opportunities for growth and development.

Area Information
The work is carried out mainly in the oratories and in the colonies that surround it. These colonies may lack basic services such as paved streets.
Special Challenges/Conditions
Nothing out of the ordinary for 'border cities'. The work of the Salesians, though, has created a calming atmosphere.
Major Duties
Participate in the Joy Brigade, urban camps, Salesian assistance, support young people in their different activities of the religious and Salesian calendar, animate soccer leagues, collaborate with FIO, VAFEJE, etc.
