The program received official recognition and approval in 2019. By 2024, approximately 150 volunteers had been sent on eight expeditions to five mission regions, both domestic and abroad.
New volunteers undergo four months of formation from February to May each year, prior to being sent on missions that commence in June and last for one or two months. Services extending beyond two months are considered only after this initial short experience. The most emphasized phase of this pastoral program is the post-mission formation.
With approximately 40 volunteers who have been committed to the post-mission programs for at least three continuous years, the next step of the program is to establish an office, managed by the youth, specializing in educational development projects.
